Stay Warm in Style This Winter With The North Face

My girls love to play in the snow, and I don't want them to have to come inside and warm up every few minutes because their hands are wet and freezing. We're going to be prepared this winter. I found a pair of pretty North Face kids gloves that are waterproof and will keep their hands warm and dry. They're a pretty pink color, so my girls will actually wear them!

For myself, I found a pair of North Face winter shoes. The style is called snow betty, and they're really cute. I like to be stylish while I'm staying warm! I haven't ordered them yet, but from what I've read in the reviews, you might want to order them in one size larger than your normal size. These shoes are exactly what I've been looking for, because I don't understand why so many boots are made with slippery soles. These boots provide better traction on slick surfaces.

My oldest daughter is more concerned with looking cool than staying warm, so I found a fleece vest that we both like. I must admit that I don't quite understand the concept of a winter vest, but they're extremely popular, so they must be doing something right! My philosophy is that if it's cold enough to wear a thick vest, than your arms are going to get cold, but she insists she's fine as long as she's wearing long sleeves. I had my own favorite styles as a teenager, so I guess this is one of those battles that isn't worth fighting! Plus, it does look cute!
