My children love fresh baked brownies, so I tried to bake a batch the other day, but it didn't turn out quite as I had planned. I carefully searched the internet for the best recipe, bought everything I need from the store, came home and tried to hurry up and bake them so I could suprise my girls before they got home. Well, hopefully it's the thought that counts, because my brownies didn't turn out well at all. My girls were so sweet, and they tasted one and tried to tell me how good they were. It makes me feel good that they didn't want to hurt my feelings! While searching for another recipe, I came across some beautiful gift baskets, and one of them just happened to be filled with brownies!
I ordered one of the 1800flowers gift baskets, so my girls can enjoy brownies that taste the way they're supposed to taste! They've been working very hard lately with school work and helping around the house, so I think it would be a nice surprise. Many people think about sending gift baskets to friends and relatives, but how often do we think about sending them to our children just to say, "I love you". My girls love to check the mail, because they're always hoping there will be something in it for them. I can't wait to see how excited they are when the delivery truck arrives, and it's for them this time!
